The Moviemov Italian Film Festival returns!

The Moviemov Italian Film Festival returns and pays tribute to Tiziano Terzani. 

The 14th edition of the event, conceived by Goffredo Bettini and organised by the Playtown Roma Cultural Association, returns to Bangkok from 3 to 6 May 2025.

The travelling festival, established in 2010 thanks to the support of the General Directorate for Cinema of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with Cinecittà, the Italian Embassy in Bangkok, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce as well as the Foreign Trade Institute, this year will showcase 9 films from the last season, and once again, one film will receive the Audience Award.

This new edition is dedicated to Tiziano Terzani with a portrait composed of two documentaries by Mario Zanot. With TIZIANO TERZANI, IL VIAGGIO DELLA VITA (TIZIANO TERZANI, THE JOURNEY OF LIFE) opening the festival, and ANAM IL SENZANOME (ANAM THE SENZANOME) closing it, we take part in the greatness and misery of the world he had seen, understood and recounted. A precious human, political and spiritual testament of the great journalist and writer.

Among the artists who have already confirmed their attendance there will be Silvia D'Amico, star of the film Il mio Compleanno (My Birthday), Alessandro Tonda, director of Il Nibbio (The Kite), and for the tribute to Tiziano Terzani his daughter Saskia Terzani and the director of the two documentaries dedicated to him, Mario Zanot. 

The venue of the Festival will be the HOUSE Samyan Cinema inside the Samyan Mitrtown, which has been participating in the festival's educational activities since last year with its students and teachers.

All activities are free entrance and the screenings are with English and Thai subtitles.

Tickets will giveaway 1 hour before the first show of festival in each day.
