Thai (Thai Subtitle) In a community in Chiang Rai that still faithfully preserves traditional Lanna customs, when someone passes away, the deceased's family contacts a small village workshop that specializes in building funeral pyres. The skilled craftsmen work to construct a pyre from wood, paper, and fabric, spending days meticulously crafting each piece with the same care and attention as if building a resting place for their own family member, ensuring the deceased departs with dignity and respect.
