English (Thai Subtitle) The news of an old friend's death brings Gordon LaChance back to a memory from the summer he was twelve, over Labour Day weekend, 1959. Together with his three closest friends, Chris, Teddy, and Vern, he set out on foot beyond the edge of town, searching for the body of a boy who had been struck and killed by a train. They were nobodies' kids chasing a chance to finally be somebody: heroes, front-page news, their names in print for once. What was meant to be a short two-day adventure turned into something far greater. Over those hours on the road, the four boys did things they had never done before and, more than that, came face to face with truths they had long carried and wounds that had never quite healed. It was the journey that would shape the men they were.
