Thai (No Subs) Format: Film 35 mm. | Daughter 2 (1996) Rose (Marisa Annita), a half-Thai, half-Western daughter of wealthy musician Rabin (Sorpong Chatree), is devastated when a tainted blood transfusion leaves her HIV-positive. Rejected and isolated as friends and family pull away, she sinks into despair and contemplates suicide—until she flees home and seeks refuge with an older friend who is also living with AIDS. Determined to expose the truth and fight the stigma, journalist Pasinee Srikamrung (Arunroj Liemthong) digs into the circumstances of Rose’s infection and works to change public perception, giving voice to those suffering from this disease.
