American alley is the name of a small village next to US second Infantry in Dongducheon area. Since Korean war, there were thousands of desperate Korean women who served the US soldiers to survive during the hard time after the war. But nowadays, there are women from Russia and Philippines working as 'entertainers' in the GI clubs. Some of the migrant women who work in the clubs choose to marry with the U.S soldiers, and some get abandoned, some go to the States with her husband, and some get deported.
