CMN (TH & EN Subs) The story of “Old Fox” takes place in 1989, an era when everyone invests in stocks. Little boy Liao Jie and his father Liao Tai-Lai depend on each other. They believe that people are born kind but fail to see that the world is changing. The stock market soars and the inflation is high. Some people become rich overnight. Others see the cruelty of reality, like the simple and naive Liao Jie and his father. Unexpectedly, they encounter a clever and cunning “old fox”, and their fate may change completely.
